My name is Alenka and I am originally from Costa Rica. I currently live in the sunshine state, Florida. I have always been a creative soul that saw creativity as a way to express myself in my own unique way.

I have been involved with my creative side since I was a child where I used to draw and paint for my family and school teachers to show my appreciation for them. 

After the years passed by, I always tried different activities to boost my creativity, such as sowing, crafting, scrapbooking, origami, watercolor painting, drawing, custom shadow boxes, diamond painting; and, most recently, embroidery and jewelry making. My creative journey has never stopped and will only continue to grow.

I have always been passionate about creativity and I absolutely love it! It has been a great way to express myself not only personally, but professionally as well in every way. I tried making handmade jewelry when I was in high school where I would make rings out of fabric and recycled materials. It was a lot of fun. I recently remembered this passion of mine and decided to just go for it!

Flowersense Jewelry has become my absolute passion and I am humbly proud of every little milestone I have been able to accomplish. Yes, it requires a lot of work and dedication, but everything fighting for will not come easily. I have a dream of having my own company, doing what I love the most and I really hope all of you will join my journey and fulfill my business dream.

I encourage everybody to go after their dreams. Even if they are scary, that is a good thing, it means it is worth fighting for. Do not wait for everything to be "perfect" to chase after your dream as it will stop you from actually fulfilling it. Just start working on it little by little, engage with other people, get your thoughts and ideas out there; and do not depend on the social media numbers and pressure. Just do YOU and, little by little, everybody will see how amazing you and your work are. Never compromise yourself to "fit in", that will take away the BEAUTIFUL YOU! Stay true to yourself and just go for it!
